The Pencil Project’s unique mission is to build a free and opensource tool for making diagrams and GUI prototyping that everyone can use.

Simplifies the development of paper prototypes. Makes an eraser dispensable: modify your prototype anytime you like. Makes your prototypes available everywhere: show them to just anybody. Supports your teamwork: collaborate wherever your teammates are.

All the features are controlled the same way: Rotate the outer knob to display genre or disc, then rotate the inner knob to pick a station or song. If you understand one function, you also understand the rest.
